Your responsibilities:

  • You will be successful in this role if you enjoy winning people over and convincing them with sophisticated products. You will independently negotiate sales and margins and directly benefit from your own success.
  • You will approach potential new customers and win them over with superior technical solutions, such as Click & Play from TMC.
  • You will advise our customers on the design of their thermal protection, e.g. in electric engines, transformers, lasers, as well as in specialized technical applications. The necessary technical clarification will be carried out together with our in-house specialists.
  • You are our sensor in the market, identifying customer needs and thereby initiating new TMC products.
  • You will support German and European customers in the fields of control and drive technology, lasers, climate/ventilation, pumps, and specialized technical applications.
  • You will participate in exchanges with external development partners, including our sister company BGF Enztech GmbH as well as universities such as KIT Karlsruhe and TU Darmstadt.
  • You will be part of our four-member sales and consulting team.

Your profile:

  • You hold a degree in (electrical) engineering and ideally have 10 years of professional experience in sales of electrical engineering, electromechanics, or precision engineering.
  • You have strong technical consulting skills, including the ability to actively listen and to develop new technical solutions together with customers.
  • You have already proven yourself as a sales talent and possess the ability to acquire new customers and enforce prices.
  • You demonstrate discipline and organizational skills to efficiently manage 5–10 key accounts and more than 50 additional customers.
  • Technical curiosity and a passion for margin and sales complete your profile.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is desirable.
