Since 1995, TMC has been one of the world’s leading providers of thermal protection solutions. With over 20 active patent families and additional applications in progress, we embody innovation and unmatched expertise. Our temperature controllers and sensors safeguard electric engines, transformers, generators, charging infrastructure, lasers, batteries, and fuel cells against overheating. From control and drive systems, heating and air conditioning, pumps and energy technology to medical devices, lighting, and laser applications – more than 200 customers worldwide trust in our thermal protection solutions every day.

Your thermal challenges - Our solutions
TMC offers more than just individual components and switches. We take full responsibility for your thermal protection by developing tailor-made solutions for you. For this purpose, we primarily use thermo-bimetal switches as well as sensors (Pt1000, Pt100, PTC, NTC, et al.). From the first development sketch to collaborative 3D design and global permits – we solve your thermal challenges. We supply all building blocks, from single switches to pre-assembled sensor chains, all the way to complete “Click & Play” systems. And we ensure that every protection solution is precisely tailored to your individual parameters. For example, Nvidia Corp. cannot manufacture its high-performance chips for AI applications without high-performance lasers, which TMC reliably protects against overheating.

Comprehensive – Our thermal protection portfolio
TMC solutions for thermal protection include bimetal switches as well as sensors, in particular Pt1000, Pt100, PTCs, and NTCs. They are based on numerous proprietary developments, most of which are protected by patents. Together with our sister company BGF Enztech GmbH, which specializes in engineering, precision stamping of metal strips, and injection molding of high-performance plastics, we also develop innovative positioning technologies for your thermal protection components.

As an owner-managed medium-sized company, we take responsibility for our more than 80 employees and lead TMC on the basis of long-term entrepreneurial values.
